I'm in luck!

Well, my biggest let down of being pregnant is that I will be the matron of honor in my sister-in-laws wedding in September. I have already done the pregnant bridesmaid thing and didn't want to do it again. (see below for my other pregnant wedding story)
Luckily the dresses she picked are PERFECT for preggos, like myself, but also look great on everyone else too! Below is my other sister-in-law modeling the dress. Isn't it a great color?! She was going to have a deep red color theme and then she found this dress! Now her colors are Horizon (the color of the dress) , silver and black. :) Yours truly is doing her wedding invitations, I will post a picture when I am done with one.
Hopefully the size I ordered (before I found out I was pregnant) will still fit me. It is an "a" line dress, so it should, not to mention is was a bit big in the cheast to begin with, so hopefully it will fit.

(by the way, this is my sister-in-law modeling the dress)

My other pregnant story!
I was in my best friends wedding in September 2005. I was supposed to be 8 months pregnant in the wedding, so when we went dress shopping, we tried to look for a dress that would accommodate my pregnant belly. I put on the 'belly pad' that tehy hda at the store and I ordered a size 8 dress. (who knows what I was thinking) At the time I probably fit into a 4 or something crazy small like that. I thought size 8 would be plenty big for my belly. well, as the time neared, my belly was super big and I had to go back to the store and exchange my size 8 for a size 16. It would have to be altered, but I neede that size to fir my belly and my tatas. ;)
Well, my son decided to come 6 weeks early and the wedding was in 10 days. The dress I had was huge on me, but I obviously still had the baby fat belly. I went back to the store and exchanged my size 16 for a size 12. I stood in her wedding and even did the limbo (against my mother-in-laws will) after having a c-section. What a day to remember! I still have that dress...not sure what I am going to do with it, but I still have it. :)

Whoa - you are a rockstar! Limbo ten days after a c-section? I'm impressed. And you look great in both dresses. Love the colors of each. You totally need to link this post up over at Melinda's Bloggin It From the Burbs if you haven't. She's having flashback Friday and the theme is "going to the chapel". She posted pics of herself as a bridesmaid too!
