More editing...

I think this one turned out pretty good! It is fun playing around with Adobe, but it is also frustrating. Any tips on great photo editing would be greatly appreciated! Also, if you have a favorite way you like to edit photos, let me know. :)

Ahhh what a cutie, I think you did a great job. The second photo has better color and I like the zoom. I have no advice from you though, as you can see by my blog I take the pics and post them. No changing them because I'm afraid I would just destroy them.
I think you did a good job.

Kelly, I saved Chase's photo and did some edits of it. I don't have photoshop but let me know your email an I will send them to you. I wish I could give you tips but I don't have that program to tell you how to improve.

I use a free program called Photoscape. I got it from www.download.com

It's really user friendly and I really like it.

Photoshop is sometimes too complicated and not as quick to edit pics.

One of the best bits of advice I got this year was to start with adjusting the levels.

Under IMAGE scroll down to ADJUSTMENTS. Under adustements is LEVELS. Click on that and then play around with the sliders.

I often bring the top right triangle to the edge of the 'mountain' and the upper left triangle to the edge of the other side of the 'mountain. The third step is to bring the middle slider back to it's original position. You'll be able to tell just by looking at the image where it suppose to be.

The other great tip is "unsharpen mask" It's under FILTERS, then look under SHARPEN. It takes the muddled haze off of photos.

It CAN be frustrating! I find myself having to take breaks after a while and work on something else.

Good luck and feel free to ask me any questions. I'm not an expert by any means, but I'm happy to share what little I know!

Do you have an Action Sets? I love them. They don't do all the editing for you, but they make it go by a lot faster
