Como Zoo on a gorgeous day!

We headed out to the Como Zoo, before it gets too cold outside. The kids loved all the animals and they were all out and about in their cages to see.Looking at the sea lions with grandma

Mommy's favorite, the giraffes! We saw this baby after it was born last year and it is huge this year!!

Abby being cute...what is new?!

Cute picture on the turtle

Abby's favorite...the monkeys!!

She got so excited that one came close to the window.

Chase's favorite..the lion! He kept saying, "ok, when are we going to see the lion."

Poking the gorillas eyes out! Ouch!

Abby talking to papa in the butterfly garden

Some pictures of butterflies that I took...they were so pretty!

Auntie Katie and Abz

Bright pink flamingos...Chase and papa thought it was funny to try and stand like flamingos.

Sisters! Though people think that we are sisters by blood, we aren't...I wish!

6 Month-baby update!

6 Months!

Wow, this pregnancy is flying by. I shouldn't say that, cause now it will go really slow. This summer is almost gone, I can't believe it. I will actually be comfortable from now on, weather wise. I LOVE fall weather, so being pregnant, won't bother me, as much as it does in the summer.
The baby is doing great. Kicking away...actually more like finding it's boundaries in my belly. It likes to strech from side to side and then, right before I
go to bed, kick me in the bladder a few times, to say goodnight. :) All my babies have been very active, right before I go to bed. :)
I am up to a 7 lbs weight gain total, as of this morning, after my morning pee of course. (sorry if that is TMI) I still feel smaller than my other two pregnancies and no new stretch marks from this pregnancy. I have a couple little ones around my belly button from my pregnancy with Abby, cause I kept my belly button ring in too long. Oh, well, if that is all
I get, I can live with that.

Here are belly pictures for 6 months.

Here is all three pregnancies!
(sorry that my belly is glowing, it hasn't seen the sun much with this crazy summer)

'Not Me' Monday!

Are you feeling guilty for leaving the windows open to catch a breeze when you know the air is on? Feel like a bag lady for wearing the same shirt for days on end? Get tricked by a fake news story and feel foolish? We'll don't! Not Me! Monday was born out of my desire to admit some of my imperfections and reveal a few moments I'd rather forget. You may find it therapeutic to join in and do the same thing!
Head over to Mckmama's blog to see why everyone else isn't perfect!

I have not been obsessed with Photoshop all week and editing pictures left and right. I would never spend an entire nap time on the computer editing photos over and over again. I do not learn something new everyday.

I did not finally go through all my clothes and put away everything that will not fit me during this pregnancy. I did not have a huge hole in my closet, where I can not fit the rest of my maternity wardrobe.

I would never eat one of my sons candy necklaces as a midnight snack, while in bed. I did not wake up the next morning, to make the bed, and find two leftover pieces of candy, that didn't make it into my mouth. I would never leave 'crumbs' in my bed.

I did not put both of my kids in 'big kid' underwear this past Friday night and pray that they would both stay dry. I did not wake up multiple times to see if their beds were still dry. They did not both wake up the next morning dry as can be. They have not stayed dry ever since.

I most certainly did not spend my relaxing and lazy Sunday cleaning, organizing, cooking and finishing up odd ends.

I am not prefect, someday I will realize that! Now you know some of my imperfections!

What a great weekend!

My weekend had been GREAT! Tons to brag about!

No more diapers in this house till the new baby comes!!!
Both kids are fully potty trained. Chase was already potty trained, but had a hard time staying dry at night, so we have been working on it and now I can say, both of my kids wear 'big kid' underwear to bed and throughout the whole day!! Am I lucky or what?!

Only 7 more days till my 'baby' turns 4! Ahhh, I know every parents say this, but where did time go?! I feel like just the other day they told me that at 34 weeks, it was indeed my water that broke everywhere and that my little boy was breach and I was going to have a c-section in less than 2 hours. WOW! We have a great baseball birthday party planned for this coming weekend and Chase is so excited! What a great present to us for his 4th birthday, to be DONE with diapers for good!

Our townhouse is back on the renting market this weekend, so I can only pray that our property management company find us some trustworthy, clean and nice renters. The house is all fixed up and looking pretty close to as nice as we originally left it 6 months ago. We really need to find a renter before September is over, so please keep us in your prayers!

My house is spotless! I straightened all the toys in the playroom, did all the laundry, cleaned up around everywhere, went through my pantry and cleaned it out, went through miscellaneous piles of stuff and even got the craft mama out in me and made some 'baby related stuff' for my blog partner for the baby blog swap. :)

I hope everyone else had a great eventful weekend! Best wishes for your week ahead!!

Many of you have asked how I got his picture on the Wheaties box.....

Well, a girl I know, whose daughter I watch, works for General Mills, and she can do them. They are $30.00 and come with the clear display box. They are well worth the money and I love how ours turned out. If you are interested, e-mail me and I can send you her work e-mail.

I had a Wheaties box made for Chase's birthday, with his picture on the front. When I gave it to him, he was amazed that he was on his papa's favorite cereal box. He had a silly belly giggle and has showed everyone that has crossed his path since the day he got it. He says someday, he is going to be famous.
My little Joe Mauer in the making!

Abby's 'crusty' look!

Can this girl give a crusty look or what?!

This is the look you get when Abby knows you are talking about her or she gets an answer that she doesn't like. She is very good at getting her way, sometimes a little too good. She has her daddy and her papa wrapped around her little finger.
She has ears like me and hears her name from rooms away. She is a very smart, silly, precious, adorable, persistent little girl!

This week is Kid's Recipes!!!

My favorite recipe to make for my kids is:

Pizza Bubbles

3 cans of Pillsbury biscuits (I used the ones in the blue tube)
1 jar of pizza sauce
1 bag of mozzarella cheese (I use about 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 Colby Jack cheese)
Pepperonis (optional)

Pre heat oven to 350 degrees. Cut all the biscuits in fourths. SEperate 1/2 cans of biscuits for each 8" circle pan. Grease 2 8" circle pans. Pour the pizza sauce into a bowl. Dip all the pieces of biscuits into the pizza sauce and then put them in the pans. Sprinkle some cut up pepperonis over the biscuits (optional) and then sprinkle the cheese on the top, 1/2 on each pan. Put whole pepperonis on the top of the cheese, if you'd like. Bake in the oven till golden brown and the cheese is melted...about 15 minutes or so.

Enjoy. They are may favorite recipe as a kid and they are one of my kids favorite recipes too.

Ok, now it's our turn, what is your favorite kid recipe?? Don't forget to link up, so we can copy down your recipe too!

Picture overload?!

I think this might be picture overload, but I am obsessed with my camera and photoshop. It is what takes up my 'quite time' during the kids naps. Which by the way, I have been successful everyday this week on getting all 5 kids down for nap at the same time. Can we say...break time for me! :)

I promise there will be some good posts coming up soon, that aren't just pictures.
Also, don't forget to participate in my Food Fixing Friday tomorrow. It is kids recipe edition!

Abby loves this bubble gun! It blows the best bubbles!

She loves Kendall. She acts like her little mommy

More bubble gun fun! One of grandmas best 'investments'! :)

Riding around in his cozy coupe

Time for a little scooter fun. I drew a road on the driveway with stop signs, stop lights, and other traffic signs, it kept the kids busy for quite awhile.

Time for snack...apples with caramel! Yummy!

Chase and Joey LOVE to play soccer. It is so fun to watch them together!

'High five' for playing a good game!

Layla and Abby off to the store! :)

Another picture mama?!

Grandma stopped over to bring Abby a new book for being potty trained and Chase a new book for his fist day of school in a little over a week.
