Next Time...

{Did you ever think??}
::
Some days, I forget how lucky I am to be a mother of two...soon to be three. I have 2 healthy kids and one healthy baby growing inside me. I was reading some of the blogs that I follow, of mommies that are not as fortunate as me and their lives have been blessed with babies, but the babies are fighting for their life or are sick or their babies didn't make it. I can't imagine what it would like to be in their shoes. I give 'mad props' to those parents out there and also to the kids that keep fighting for a chance.
I know I am
not a perfect mom, by no means will I ever be. Unfortunately I got my dad's short temper and I am slowly learning to be more and more patient with my kids every day, but this is what I want you to think about...
::

Next time you are going to yell or scold your child(ren) for being too loud....
{Thank God that your children have voices and energy!}

Next time you get mad that your child(ren) won't eat or are playing with their food...
{Thank God that your child can eat and can use their hands to play}

Next time you get mad for tripping over your child(s) toys...
{Thank God you have the money to buy those toys}

Next time you stress out about money or bills...
{Thank God that you have child(ren) that just want your LOVE and don't need tons of toys to be happy}

Next time you wish to yourself for your child(s) bedtime to come just a bit earlier...
{Thank God that you get to tuck your sweet child(ren) into their bed}
::

I love you Chase and Abigail!!!

This post was just what I needed for today. I try to live by that philosophy. It's so easy to forget about our small blessings, but we are so lucky to have healthy children and all of the other blessings, too.

Someone once said to me, "Aren't you glad when it's Lily's bedtime? or when she goes to bed early."

I told them, "no, I'm actually sad. I love spending every minute with her."

I enjoyed this post though. We are so blessed!
