'Not Me' Monday!

Are you feeling guilty for leaving the windows open to catch a breeze when you know the air is on? Feel like a bag lady for wearing the same shirt for days on end? Get tricked by a fake news story and feel foolish? We'll don't! Not Me! Monday was born out of my desire to admit some of my imperfections and reveal a few moments I'd rather forget. You may find it therapeutic to join in and do the same thing!
Head over to Mckmama's blog to see why everyone else isn't perfect!

We did not get our first interested renter on our townhome this week and there is no way that she would make a second showing for tomorrow night. I am not jumping around in circles and praying that someone just finally moves in our empty townhome.

I would never take the kids to an indoor play place in the mall, so that they could run around and get rid of all their energy, when it ended up being a really nice day outside. I would never leave the park, go eat lunch with them and then bring them back again, to play more. They did not have a blast there!

I did not empty my closet this week to make room for all my maternity clothes. I would never go on craigslist.com and buy 2 bags of trendy and cute maternity clothes from another lady, just so that I would have stuff to wear for the remainder of this pregnancy. Maternity clothes are not extremely overpriced and there is no way I look at every possibly way of not buying new maternity clothes from the stores.

I did not go through this whole week without doing laundry, then decided that it had to be done on Saturday...when I did not have anything else better to be doing.

I did not change my plans on Saturday, from getting stuff I need to get done, to going to the Twins game. On the walk back to the car, my brother-in-law did not jump out from an alley and scared me so bad, that I possibly peed my pants a little bit...just a little. I did not just admit that to everyone who reads my blog.

Chase did not go to Sunday school this morning, without crying and actually tell me that he loved it and wants to go back next Sunday. We did not have a different situation with Abby, and she would never cry the entire 20 minutes that she was in the nursery.

I am not prefect, someday I will realize that! Now you know some of my imperfections!

Too funny! I totally agree about maternity clothes being way overpriced! I was lucky to be able to borrow lots from friends, but then I reached that stage where I bought a lot, too....I loved having those cute clothes at the time, but now I seriously regret it since it was a total waste of money! Oh well...

lol! Hooray for your son liking Sunday school and for the offer on your home!

Good job finding the maternity clothes on Cragislist!! They are WAY expensive. I hope I don't get preg again because I gave all of mine away this last time.

You are so right about clothes...they are way overpriced!!!!! Seriously you only wear them for a few months and you pay double the price you do for normal clothes! Good for you for finding some a cheaper way :)

I am the worst about procrastinating doing the laundry...it is piled up in my laundry room right now!
