Apple Orchard and Pumpkin Patch

It was 36 degrees outside and we headed to the Apple Orchard! {Burrrr}
The kids were a little cold but had a blast and LOVED picking apples and pumpkins at the end.

You have to post with the wooden head cut out!

Trying to find out way through the corn maze

We found the other half of the group. Chase decided he could find his own way. :)

Chase though I couldn't see him behind the corn stalk

Hanging out with grandma in the wooden train

Onthe tractor ride to Peek-a-boo!

On the tractor ride through the woods

Poor little Abby was freezing! She had on fleece lined jeans, a sweater, a coat, mittens, a hat and her blanket.

Yummy doughnuts to warm out belly with mama's favorite...{Hot cider}!

Another fun wooden head cut out!

Monkey see..monkey do!

Time to pick some apples! Katie decided to be naughty and climb the tree and pick the best ones from the very top!

Honey Crisps...our favorite!

Me and my cold little princess!

Chase was so proud of the apples he picked! Everyone of them was perfect...at least in his eyes!

Dusting off her apple that she picked!

Time to pick a pumpkin...Abby wasn't too picky

Chase on the other hand, went through about 3 different ones, before he found the perfect one

They ate their apples the minute their little hands got warm, in the car.

They both did a great job at eating every last little bite!

As many of you are asking what I decided to do about the H1N1 Swine Flu vaccine...

I have been talking this over with many people and my doctors and I have read the two following articles (that my best friend sent me) about it, so I have decided that both the kids and I will be getting the vaccine.

(The mayo clinic is very well known and I trust what they say. I also don't think that they would give false information and post it on their website)

(This is also another website that my best friend sent me and it is also very well trusted)

It hasn't come out yet in my clinic, so when it does, we will go in and get it. Meanwhile, I will be finding somewhere that has the flu shot, cause I will be getting one of those also.

I love the pictures from the orchard! We decided to not go on this weekend due to the chilly weather, (although it wasn't 36 degrees! Where do you live? That is crazy for October! lol) The family picture is the best, the fall leaves behind it are the prettiest! Hope you have a wonderful week!

I adore that family picture! Super super cute! Glad everyone had fun and tried to stay warm. Can not believe the cold.

I still have yet to decide about the N1H1 and worry about it! Alex and I did get the flu shot though!

I'm cold just looking at your pics! And how are those apples still hanging in there?

When I saw the first pic I thought you went blonde. Then I thought it must be your sister but wasn't sure. Then I thought it was your Mom since it said Grandma came with later in the post. Now I am thinking it was Katie and she's your sister!

Great photos! We love honeycrisp too! And hey....I so love Chase's jacket! Why? Becuase my little Henry wore that jacket for two years and just passed it down to my Godchild. I loved that jacket!

Your pictures are so cute! Love love love them!

Wonderful pictures! It does look really cold there, though! BRRRRR!
Glad you made up your mind on the vaccine. Lexie will probably be getting it, as well.
