Carving pumpkins was a blast! We had my parents and my in-laws over for dinner. We all ate dinner together...my second attempt at Lasagna...and it was awesome and then started to carve pumpkins.
Chase had a blast scooping out all the 'guts' and carving his own eyes, noes and mouth. He did a pretty good job for a 4 year old.
Using the cool Halloween scooper, to scoop out the 'guts'
Grandma showing him the right technique
Finally using his hand to grab the 'guts'
Even being 27, my dad still cuts a better top than me, so he is cutting my pumpkin top off
Abby wanted nothing to do with carving, she just walked/laid around being cute!
My mom sorting through the 'guts' to get the seeds.
{All this effort and I burned all the seeds}
He was so careful at cutting his own pieces
Abby wanted to help me draw the face on my pumpkin
I go with simple and not original pumpkin!
Brian and his #4 Vikings pumpkin
{Not sure which is bigger?!}
I have been in a blogging slump lately and I promise I will pick back up with more posts and less pictures, but I figure, when you have cute kids...might as well show them off to the world. {Cute park pictures to come} This third trimester is making me really tired and is killing my back, so it hurts to sit in front of the computer for too long.
October isn't over yet, stay tuned for another fun giveaway! Also, check out my three giveaways going on right now, on my right sidebar.

Love the belly pic with the pumpkin. I can so identify with that third trimester back pain, I had that with my last pregnancy so badly! Hang in there. Your kids are so cute.
