My favorite recipe for a casseroles is:

Taco Bake

Ingredients-
  • 1 box of family mac n' cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning
  • 1-8oz jar of salsa
  • 1 bag of shredded cheese (I use mild cheddar)
  • 2 cups crushed tortilla chips
Directions-
  1. Make mac n' cheese according to box, then when finished and it is well mixed...add the 1/2 cup of sour cream.
  2. Brown ground beef, till there is no pink left. Then follow directions on the Taco seasoning packet and add to meat.
  3. Lightly grease an 8x8 pan. Layer the bottom with the mac n' cheese mixture.
  4. Add a layer of the taco seasoned ground beef on to and then a layer of cheese with some salsa on top.
  5. Repeat the layers again and end with the cheese and salsa on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until heated through.
  7. Remove the foil and add the crushed tortilla chips to the top and bake another 5-8 minutes.

This is a favorite recipe in our house! I hope you like it as much as we do! Ok, now it's our turn, what is your favorite salad recipe?? Don't forget to link up, so we can copy down your recipe too! Next week is favorite pie recipes!

Very cool! I'm not sure I'm up to writing another post today. I just made Calabacitas the other day, have you ever had that?

I use Picasa, paint.net, and Photoshop 7.
