Shark vs. Bissell??

Congrats Andrea! Please e-mail me your e-mail address and I will get your information over to Kelly.

Shark vs. Bissell?!
I am stuck! I used to own the Shark Steam Mop, until I had it for a little over a year and I broke it in half. Some might think that I am a powerful cleaner, since I am a clean freak, but I went to use it and started cleaning, like I always did and it broke in half. I {love} this steam mop, but I am not sure if I want to drop another $80 on it, if it might break in half again. I had no complaints or cons about this steam mop, but I have also heard good reviews on the Bissell Steam Mop. Do any of your own the Bissell or own the Shark? Any one have the Shark and had the same problem I had?

I just asked for a Shark steam mop for Christmas! Now I'm wondering if I should reconsider...I hate it when stuff breaks for no good reason.

If you're thinking about the Bissell, check out this review by a blogger that I love:

I thought the Shark sounded better, but I've never used either myself! Let us know what you decide to go with! :o)

I haven't used either, but let me know which one you choose, so I can make a decision about which one I like best! :)

No way! I won!?! Cool! Thanks!!! :)

I have been thinking of getting a new mop, we have junky ones. We do have a handheld Shark and it works wonderfully!

Hi there! I've had both and my shark broke too. Not in half, but still broke. The replacement part cost 16 dollars but ten dollars shipping. :*(
My Bissell is still going strong. I gave it to my mom because she and my dad bought a house that has TONS of tile. She uses it all the time and loves it.

Maybe I need one of those, can you use it only on hard surfaces?!?!

Our house is all wood floors and I have the shark but I don't particularly love it. I don't think it works well enough. I might as well just sweep our wood floors and then just use the swiffer. They look so much better that way. It just takes longer that's the main issue.

I sent you an e-mail to make sure I had the right info. Write me back when you can and I'll send you my address, etc. Thanks again!

I haven't used either one of them. We have mostly carpet in our house so I really don't need a steamer much.

oooooooooh! I need this. My lil one will be crawling soon and I have tile everywhere! I didn't have this problem with Ayla was little in our other house. Let me know which you decide on. Im kinda leaning toward asking for the bissel since the shark has been known to spontaneously break- and in half? ha
