Happy New Year!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2009 is gone...but not forgotten!
What a year it has been....

*We have moved houses and are about to move again
*We brought an amazing little girl into our world
*We have had a very healthy year and been illness free
*We have been blessed with the support of family and friends
*We have had our fair share of family members passing

I can't wait to see what 2010 brings.

For 2010, I have some resolutions...

1. I am going to try and be a better wife. I often take a rough or long day out on my husband and don't always remember that he has also had a long day at work and my days happenings weren't his fault. Days can be long, but I also have to remember that I get to spend each and every day with my kids and that is a blessing in itself.

2. I often forget to see the best/good in all things. I go through my day seeing my glass half full, but forget to thank God for all my blessings. In 2010, I am going to try and always see the good in things and give people the benefit of doubt.

3. I am going to try and keep up with my laundry. With a family of 4 I feel behind and then took time away from my family to get laundry done, so I plan to stay on top of my laundry, for my family of 5!

4. I plan to get myself back to my pre-pregnancy weight with Chase {I have roughly 20 lbs. to go, to get to that weight} and exercise more and be healthier. I want to have the energy back again, to run around the yard with my kids and enough energy to play sports in the summer. Kids are only young once and they grow up too fast, so I want to be able to do fun things with them, while they are still young.

5. Last but not least...I want to be almost debt free by the end of 2010. I can't thank my parents enough for helping us out this year. We had a bad encounter with renters at our townhouse and they put us in a big hole, money wise. Also, since I couldn't get the daycare licensed at the house we are currently at, we are also farther in a money hole than when we live in our townhouse.

What are your New Years Resolutions?!

I hope everyone has a wonderful start to the year 2010!!

Happy New Year, Kelly! I am embarrassed to admit that I didn't even know your littlest one arrived until I tried catching up on your posts last night! Well, your header gave it away, too. ;) Seems she came right as I left town for the holidays, so congrats to you and yours and here's to a wonderful 2010!

Those are such great resolutions to have. Putting God in the center of life, an seeing His blessings when the world can be so dim, is so encouraging.
How sweet of your parents to be helpful to your family too...that melted my heart.
Have you heard of Dave Ramsey? He has a great "kit" that discusses a lot about renters/mortgages/debt/preparing for the future. Its wonderful :)
