Questions Answered!

I have to admit, there were some great questions that you guys asked. Here is round one of the answers.
Whats it like to have 3 kids now? Any different from 2 or is it really not that different once you have 2 or more?
 It is a lot of fun having 3! It is much different than 2. With two, they didn't always entertain themselves, they would always want me to play with them individually. Now they are best buddies and get along so well. Going from 1 to 2 was a lot harder than going from 2 to 3. The difference between their ages when they are younger seems much bigger than when they are a little older. Having a newborn and a 2 year old is harder than having a newborn, 2 and 4 year old, cause they older two play so well together.

Food Question :)
I'm also going to make my own food. Are you on the Naturopath/Organic bandwagon as well? I've been told by my doctor to start with cereals but we have a Naturopath in the family that suggest I start with meat?! Just wondering what you did...
I am not on the bandwagon at all. I start with cereals for a month or so and then add in veggies, then after I have gone through most of the veggies, I add in fruits.
I don't add in meats, rice and pasta until about 8 months.

Are you guys done at 3 or are you planning/thinking about more? And any reasons you would like more or are feeling complete (financial, personal, time, etc.)? We are really on the fence and go back & forth about having a 3rd; our hearts scream YES but our heads say NO. But we are pretty sure for financial and such reasons 3 would be it for us. Did you take finances into account any of the times you "tried" for a baby or did you feel secure or like things would work out no matter what?
I am on the fence about being done at 3. I always though growing up, I only wanted 3 kids, but I love kids and I love big families. Now that I am at 3, I am thinking about 4. We like the age spacing about 2 - 2 1/2 years apart, so I figure when Makenzie turns 2, we will know if we are done or if we want to add a 4th.
We never really thought about the financial aspect of having a child, when we decided to start trying. We knew it would be expensive, but we knew things would work out and fall into place. With Abby and Makenzie, we knew we wanted to have them, but they 'weren't really planned.' I was still taking birth control {the same kind both times} and didn't really have time to think if we had the finances to have another baby.

Did you do a baby book for the kids??
I scrap booked a baby book for Chase {for his first year of life} and was done with it by his first birthday party. I have Abby's book, her pictures printed and all the paper and embellishments in a box...waiting to be put together. {I feel like I never have enough time to get even one page started}
Makenzie's stuff is starting to collect in a box and I really hope to get it done by the time she is one. {cross your fingers for me}

what did you before doing a in home daycare?
I got a job at TimberLodge Steakhouse when I was 16 as a hostess and then became an expediter and then moved onto serving. I work there for 8 years, along with having 2-3 other jobs. I have worked in many restraints since I was 16 and finally got out of that business when I was pregnant with Abby. I also worked at a childcare center for a year and a half, in the infant and toddler room. I nanned for families here and there too.

besides being a mommy, what is your dream job?
My dream job would be to be an RN nurse. When I was dating a boyfriend in High School, and he cut his head open, I realized I couldn't stand the sight of blood and that profession wouldn't work. Then I wanted to be a teacher, and I might want to do that, after my kids are in school, but for now, my dream job is to run my daycare.

I have another one.....What is your favorite quick go-to kid friendly dinner recipe? What do you make on a busy day when you don't have much time and need to cook up something quick for your family?
My kids love Spaghetti, so that is an easy one for us. It is quick and easy. A couple more I love that are easy are, Bacon cheeseburger Pasta,  Taco Bake , chicken or beef quesadillas, and a new chicken enchilada recipe that I got from my mom. (I will post the recipes for both the Bacon cheeseburger pasta and the chicken enchiladas soon}

I will answer the rest tomorrow too. I don't want to put you all to sleep with this long post.
