My Busy Mind...

While on Vacation I am remembering that Abigail is turning 3 in just over a month!
I am usually on top of things and have her birthday somewhat planned and the invitations designed....

Well...not this year, I just started putting together her invites and I am not {really} happy with either one I have made. She didn't make it easy on me...she wants her theme to be...
   She {LOVES} Snow White!
I have been thinking of a few ideas here and there for her party...but the invitation just isn't working the way I want it to.

Is is sad that I am already planning Chase's birthday in my head at the same time and he doesn't turn 5 until September!?

I miss the old me! The over planning mama that was done with things a month before they happened.  I used to be 'ontop' of everything! After I got pregnant with Makenzie, I got the 'prego brain' really bad and for some reason it stuck and hasn't totally gone away.

If anyone has any good ideas for a Snow White birthday, please send them my way. I have some, but could use a bunch more!

Are you serious! You can't be too perfect :) that's what's wrong with your brain now is that you're just catching up to the rest of us. HaHa

I know you'll come up with something perfect and I can't wait to see it!!!!

Ooh, I love planning parties! Some things you could do:
- use primary colors to decorate, like in her dress. Target has paper plates/napkins in bold patterns (big dots, wide stripes, etc.) that you could mix and match for a whimsical look.
- game: pin the hair bow on Snow White
- activity: have each kiddo decorate a magic mirror (hobby lobby usually has cute foam things in their kids craft area)
- favor: apples (or as a snack at the party)
- there is a program from Disney called enchanted phone calls (I think) where you could have Snow White call her at the party

Happy planning!

Aw I am sure the party will be a success! And how does time go so quickly? Lucas will be turning 3 too in 2 months!

I'll be thinking of some ideas & let you know if I come up with anything. I'm sure it will turn out perfectly! To answer your question about the bottles Averly ended up doing ok with Avent bottles. My mom said that she didn't really like it at first but I guess she figured she had to eat! Haha have y'all tried that kind yet? Does McKenzie take a paci? Averly hates pacis & I guess she associates the bottle with them.

How about using an "apple" theme? You could do caramel covered apples as a treat for the kids. You can cut out a bunch of apples with red construction paper and do a "pin the apple on the basket" game. You could also do centerpieces out of apples. :D And just remember that she is going to remember having FUN on her birthday...not how much time you spent planning it :D

Ha! I know the feeling Kelly. Katelynn is big into the "Princess" theme right now too and I have her birthday in August. Speaking of which, we were at the store the other day and I tried to get her to pick out a bathing suit... well she wanted the princess one, but they didn't have her size, so I tried to get her to get the little mermaid. She was not having it either! So needless to say we left with nothing. lol

Honestly I have no idea how you do what you do each day. No worries I'm sure that she will have a perfect b-day.
Hmm ideas for the party? I'll have to think on that one. Good luck though planning it.
