Do you have them??

 Holiday Traditions?!

{We have plenty and I love carrying them on with my family}

* Since I met my hubby, we have always had Christmas Eve with his family and then spent Christmas with my family. (It makes it so much easier and relaxing)

* We always bring our stockings to my parents house and open them there Christmas morning.

* We go out to lunch on Christmas Eve with my hubby's family and some 'late shoppers' get their last minute shopping done.

* My mom always makes her homemade cinnamon rolls on Christmas morning and now last year we added making breakfast burritos for breakfast on Christmas.

* I always get the kids new PJ's to wear on Christmas morning.

* My mom always saves one present for everyone to open after dinner on Christmas

* We have an annual cookie bake with my hubby's family, where we back tons of cookies and eat {way} too much!

* We do a {very} entertaining 'cousin gift exchange' with my hubby's family, where you roll dice in a pan to see which gift you get, you can steal other peoples gifts if you roll a double. It gets very entertaining and fun!

* My sister-in-laws and I always get matching 'comfy' outfits to wear on Christmas day. {we usually get to go shopping with my MIL to give some input}

 What are your family traditions?!
What are your favorites ones, you could never miss doing!?

{I am off to cover our toys, since we are expected to get 6 + inches of snow tonight. Just to think...it was 70 degrees on Tuesday}
That's weather in Minnesota for ya!

Love this post...love holiday traditions.

We exchange books on Christmas Eve. I try to pick out a special book, especially for Graham. Inside the book, I write a Christmas letter to our boy. Hopefully, he'll keep them forever and be able to read his letters from mom and dad and know how much he's loved. Also on Christmas Eve, after Graham went to bed last year, Joel and I watched The Grinch (the Jim Carrey version...love that movie) in bed while eating warm chocolate cake. I'll never forget how blessed I felt to have an angel in his crib awaiting Christmas morning and my loving husband by my side. I'm thinking this should be an annual tradition too!

I always buy Rilee a new pair of Jammies to wear Christmas Eve->Christmas morning for Santa. (3rd year now) I also have a tradition with my roommate, but now my husband that our stockings are filled by each other and should be filled with silly special things.

How fun!! I love the idea of saving a gift until after dinner...keeps the excitement going all day! We do sausage biscuits for breakfast at my families house. Now we do it at my inlaws, too!
