Many Things Change...

(for example)
 Before I was a mom...

 I 'lived' in short shirts, skirts and heels
{now I wear whatever is comfortable, but I still love my heels}

 I never thought anyone in my house would have a bigger wardrobe than me
{my girls top mine}

I never thought I could put so much effort and energy into little things
{helping my kids accomplish things, planning birthdays, teaching my kids things}
I didn't know that cold food was going to become a staple in my day
{making food for a daycare of 11 and even just for my 3 kids, I rarely get warm food}

I spent at least an hour and a half  or two hours getting ready in the morning
{now I am ready in under an hour}

I didn't think I would get excited on the off chance I get to listen to the radio in the car
{I mean I can only take listening to so many kids DVD's}

I thought 'baking cookies' was the best smell
{Then I smelled a freshly cleaned baby}

I had 'fun' grocery shopping
{Now I resort to delivered groceries}

 I would live 'on the edge'
{I am more cautious; I want to be around as long as possible}

I loved my family and husband more than anything!
{I still do, but the love for your children tops all}
