Always something to do...

Home-ownership can sometimes be a big pain and pretty darn expensive!

We have project after upgrade and it is never ending.
{just ask my hubby about his 'honey do' list}

Here is our my latest project...
 {Our laundry room}

Here are the last pictures of my laundry room, before I started to 'tear' it apart!

We are re-flooring it to make it tile, putting in trim and painting the walls.
Then I am going to organize and add another cupboard like wall cabinet and hopefully get a new tub sink and faucet.
It will be quite the job, but I hate my laundry/art room looking like a junk room.

After this job is done, it's time to start on our screen is lacking the screen and needs a different color/coat of paint. {I am dreading this job}
Another day, another job to finish!

Stay tuned for progression pictures!

Have a great weekend!
We are off for a fun weekend camping with our good friends and their kids!

I totally get it! We just bought a bank owned home about a month ago. We painted the ENTIRE inside of the house before we moved in and it's been one project after another to get the house in shape. I can already see how much progress we've made. You'll love your laundry room when you're done. I had my husband paint ours yellow and although that sound weird, I totally love it. We did all white shelving and the yellow and white together look really crisp and clean. I also made a curtain for the window that's yellow pinstrip. I blogged about it....if you are intersted in reading. Good luck!!!

We've been at it, too. All of our projects are outside, though. Last weekend, Steven did our front yard and re-layed the weed paper and mulch. Now he is doing a built-in fire pit. After that, we are doing a swing set and koi pond. Once its done, it will be great! Now it just looks like a big mess!!

You have a great laundry room. Wanna trade? Mine is in the basement and our home is much older than yours. So its by no means fancy.

We too are finding with our home the projects are never ending. We hardly have one finished and we want to start another one. Oh and the money it takes to do these projects it just crazy.

I can't wait to see the new floor you picked out.
