Show & Tell ~ When you were 17

1. When you were 17, tell us what kind of car you drove, where you worked, and what you were usually up to on the weekends.
I drove a few cars when I was 17. I had a Nissan 200 SX SE and a Honda Civic EX (I was pretty good at crashing cars around that age)
I worked at TimberLodge steakhouse (my first job, and I worked there for almost 9 years)
I started as a hostess then an expeditor and finally made it to a server. On occasion I was asked to be a manager, but I made more serving and the hours are so much better!
Weekends usually consisted of hanging out with my BFF Mel. We'd go hang out at Crown pool hall (I know...classy!) Often times hit up White Castle on the way home. We often snuk out at night and headed over to one of our boyfriends houses.

2. Show us a picture of you when you were 17 {roughly}.
(sorry...bad pic. I am on the far left)
3. When you were 17, tell us what you wanted to be when you "grew up."
I really wanted to be a mom. I was one of those young girls that couldn't wait to have a family (but I obviously knew I wasn't ready at the time) I also really wanted to be a teacher. Working in a childcare center for a couple years made me realize I wanted to be my own boss and teaching wasn't for me. I wanted to own my own daycare. (and I accomplished that)
4. When you were 17, tell us the kind of boys that you dated. Did you have a type? Do you have a relationship you remember well? Tell us about it.

At the time, I was dating a 'Abercrombie boy.' That is what I told myself at the time. He did however work at Abercrombie, we both did. He was the opposite of the typical guy I dated. He was shorter and blonde. I usually went for the tall darker haired guys.
5. When you were 17, tell us where you pictured your life 10 years from then. Did it turn out the way you expected it to?

I am exactly where I wanted to a 'T.' I wanted to be done having kids by 30, I wanted 3 kids (and I got a bonus 4th) I wanted to be able to stay home with my kids and have family that was involved in my kids lives.
Fast forward to today...I have just that!

I love that you refer to your fourth as your "bonus fourth", that's adorable! I was prone to crashing cars at 17, as well...distracted teenagers, and we didn't even have cell phones back then! Love your post, visiting from the link up! Come check out mine.

LOL! I can't tell you how many people I rear ended when I was a teenager whoopsies. Ahhhh the Abercrombie Boy. My friends and I used to go to Abercrombie and spray ourselves with the male cologne. I think it was called 8? :)
