My sweet pride and joy!

I am DONE!

Done having babies that is!

I did it...4 kids by 30 years old!!
(my goal was to be done with kids by 30)

Honestly I prepared myself when I got pregnant with Blake, that he was my last baby. {There is no way my body could handle being pregnant again, even if I was crazy enough to want a 5th baby}
I know in my heart that our family is complete.  We have our hands and hearts full. I LOVE babies, but I am ready to watch my kids grow up. I was not one of those girls that loved being pregnant. I had bad veracious veins, that gave me lots of uncomfortable pain and a bad back that made it very hard to sleep.

I might not have said it at the time, but looking back on each of my four kids births, I really did love the experience. I loved the fact that I got to bring a tiny miracle into the world to raise. {What better gift is there?!}

I am sad that I will never get to experience it again, but I get to experience new things as my kids get older. I do get sad at silly little things, like the other day when Blake moved up to a size 3 diaper or when he grew out of his baby bath and moved into the sling in the big tub. {things I will never get to experience again}
[thank goodness for pictures to look back upon]

This is a new chapter in my life, the life of a busy mama of four energy loaded kids! Four kids that make me very proud, keep me on my toes and amaze me everyday. Four kids...it sounds so surreal to even say that. I always wanted a big family, I grew up wanting 3 kids, I feel more than blessed to have 4! I hope someday to be a very busy grandma, (not for a very long time though!) enjoying my grand-kids as much as my parents and in-laws enjoy my kids!

There are still those people that gasp when I say I have four kids and look at me like I am crazy. There are also the ones who ask me if I even have a social life. I wouldn't change my life for anything!! I LOVE family nights, I love just hanging out with my kids and if you ask me, I'd much rather stay home and watch family movies than go out to the bar and spend too much money on drinks. I had a blast in Vegas with my hubby and siblings, but once again, if you ask where I had more fun, Vegas or Disney World with my family...Disney World takes the cake! To watch my kids with that much excitement and joy, makes me one very happy mama!

I am one proud mama, that is ready to watch my 'babies' grow up!
{now out with all this extra baby stuff!}

Show & Tell How I met your father

1. Tell us about how and when you met your love and what attracted you most to him.
Oh the details....
I actually met my husband on the internet. (though he hates to admit it) I was a searching for an ex-boyfriends email through AOL, when I came across a profile {Quicksl1} I clicked on it and read it. It was funny and witty, so I thought, what the heck do I have to loose, I am going to say hi to this guy. He thought it was weird that I said hi 'out of the blue,' but we talked for awhile. Then he disappeared and didn't come back online for about a month (he thought I was crazy). When he finally came back online, I messaged him right away. He and I talked and exchanged pictures. and decided to meet up at his work {Target}. He was a security guard and I took the kids I nannied for shopping to meet him. We got in the store and he wasn't at the front entrance, like he said he'd be, so we shopped around. (little did I know, his friend and him were watching us on the store cameras) We saw him at the entrance, when we were heading out and we exchanged numbers, with the promise of talking after the holidays. The rest is a fairy tail, still going 12+ years later.

2. Show us the very first {or one of the first} pictures you guys ever took together.

3. Tell us some of your favorite memories that you two had together.
*Our first trip together to Cancun, 4 months after we met. Puppy love for sure, I was
'ga-ga' over him and was hoping this would be the first of many trips together.
*Buying and moving into our first house. We had many laughs and memories there, specially me getting locked out of the house the first day, for 4 hours.
*Our wedding, it was picture perfect! The start of our new life together!

*Our kids births, 4 awesome miracles! Bringing 4 children into this world and raising them together...doesn't get better than that!

4. Tell us your favorite qualities about this man, what makes him "the one."
 He is patient (which I am not always). He is sensitive, honest and caring! He has a huge heart, though he isn't the most romantic, he surely tells me he loves me and how beautiful I am everyday. It takes a lot for him to get mad, which is a perfect fit for me. He will listen to me, and we all know, I can talk a lot. He is always on my side, even when he knows I might be wrong (which doesn't happen often) He is an amazing father, that is awesome at taking care of his family!

5. Tell us what your "date nights" typically look like.
We usually go out to eat at one of our favorite places. Mongos, Olive Garden, Kobe...to name a few. Then we try to hit up a movie. They aren't too extensive, but good quality time together and some one on one time away from the kids.

Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear ugly stomach bug- PLEASE 'for the love of Pete'...leave our house! Both my girls have been unfortunate to get in your way, while passing through our house. NO FUN! Please get the hint from all the Lysol and cleaning...LEAVE!

Dear Blake- Thank you for finally getting over your 7+ week cold! Daddy and I really do appreciate a good nights sleep. Lets work on putting our self to sleep again, now that you are getting better!

Dear mail lady- I hope I didn't scare you off, after opening the door when you rang my door bell again during nap time, to tell you to not ring my door bell when dropping off packages. My babies love their sleep and you don't help when you ring the door bell and make my dog bark like crazy.

Dear my most favorite aunt- Thanks for all of your help this past weekend on redecorating my house. I love all the stuff you did and the new stuff we bought! You are one talented lady! Love your to pieces!

Dear JBF- Thank you for paying off. For all those hours I spent tagging and getting my stuff ready for the sale...I am well on my way to a new laptop. It was well worth my time...I have already made more than I thought I would.

Dear readers, whom I love- Don't forget to enter in my FREE custom holiday card giveaway. Just click on the button on my top right sidebar.
