Friday's Letters!

Dear Lululemon- You have become a quick obsession and I am truly in love with all of your clothes! I am pretty sure I could wear you every day of the week and not think there is anything wrong with that.
Dear hubs- I know you say you are going to help me build a new business website, but I think this sounds like more work than you want. I built my own before and boy is it stressful and time consuming. You sure we shouldn't look for someone to do it for me?!
Dear treadmill- I know I have been slacking on my running and it isn't that I don't love that alone time, it is however that I love to sit on my butt with my family after a long day and just hang out. I did however get my new Asics Gel Blurr running shoes and I can't wait to put them to use.
Dear hubs (again)- Thanks you so much for the awesome shopping spree and new laptop for my birthday! You have been such a trooper my whole birthday month and I love you to pieces for it!
Dear kiddos- Today is the last day of spring break, and as much as I have loved hanging out with you all week long, it is time to go back to school on Monday and give mommy a break! Thank goodness!
Dear Housing Market- If you could please do myself {and a ton of other people} a favor and pick up a bit, that would be fabulous! I would really like to move within the next two years, so that I can get my kids settled in the schools they will be in, have more room for my family and be even closer to our families. BUT, in that case I would actually like to make a little money on our house when we well it. {help me out here!}
Dear chocolate- I don't even like you that much, so if you could do your best and steer clear of me this weekend, it would be much appreciated! My body doesn't like to way you look on my thighs. :)

Happy Weekend Everyone!

It's the new 20...right?!

31 is my new 20!
{decked out in my new Lululemon attire!}

Happy Birthday to ME!

30 hit me like a brick wall, but was definitely the most memorable birthday to date!
My hubs threw me a surprise 30th birthday (5 days after I had Blake and 2 days before my real birthday)
How he pulled it off, I am not sure. I am the hardest person to surprise, since I pry into everything.
I went shopping with my mom and Blake, while my dad and hubs stayed home to the kids. I remember Kenzie asking me to paint her finger nails and my dad telling her he'd do it, that mommy, grandma and Blake were going shopping. {one a side isn't a good idea to go shopping for clothes, five days post baby} I got some new cute outfits for Blake and before we knew it, it was time to head home. Then when we got home....I had a house full of family and friends to celebrate my birthday.
{best hubs award}
(When I got home, I had one prod little girl. Kenzie was so proud of her nails that were painted by papa)

So hitting the big 3-0....I couldn't complain. It was a blast and what a great year it has been!

{The past couple years}

So...with it being my birthday...what better way to celebrate than a

Friday Letters

 Dear hubs- Thank you SO much for the early birthday present! I love my new lap top and the fact that it actually works properly! Dear new lap top- I am not a fan of Windows 8, in fact you really are a pain in the butt! I would love a magic genie to come and set everything up for me, so I don't have to deal with it. Dear Blake- You turned one this week! Oh my...where did the past year go? I can't wait to see what this year brings! Love you little man! Dear hubs (again)- I hope you are having a fabulous time in Vegas with the guys for March Madness! I think of how much fun we had and can't wait to go back soon! Win big baby! Dear feet- You were not very fun to go sandal shopping yesterday! I know we live in the frozen tundra, but seeing ghostly white and dry feet in sandals, doesn't really sell the sandal. Good thing I have a great imagination! Dear kiddos- Thank you all for sleeping through the night every night that daddy has been gone! You all must know how much mommy needs/loves her beauty sleep. Lets face it, I turn 31 next week, I need all I can get! Dear March- I am so glad you came and I couldn't be happier that it is my birthday month and supposed to be the turning point for spring. I am not sure if you got the memo...but it is SPRING...STOP snowing and warm up. one likes an Easter egg hunt in the snow! Dear Lululemon- I can't wait to come get my first clothing item at your store tomorrow! I have seen the amazing things you sell and my wonderful SIL is going to take me shopping there tomorrow for my ready! {addiction in the making}

Have a fabulous weekend y'all!

When you don't know!

Ever have your child get asked to a birthday party or get requested for a playdate..

...when you haven't met the child's parents?!
{or is that only me?!}

Part of me wants to be the good mom and always let them go.
The other part of me don't even know this child or their parents.

Since I do daycare, I don't get to volunteer in the kids school classes (hopefully this will change someday) and that means I don't get to meet their friends. I hear plenty about them and how they are best buddies, but I only go by what I am told. They ask for play-dates with a lot of them and also get invited to tons of birthday parties.

How do I know their behavior is acceptable and that they are a good influence on my child?
{you know the friends that you want your kids to have?!}

I do my best in raising my children to have presentable and respectable behavior when they are not in our presence (and even when they are!) I want my kids to be the ones that parents talk about, saying how well behaved they are and how good of a friend they are. {who wouldn't want that?}

When I am asked to drop my kids off at a birthday party and pick them up later...that is hard for me- I don't know the family who is watching my child.

What would/do you do?!
