Easter Bunny Door Decoration DIY

If you are like me, your Easter decorations were put out weeks ago...but one can never have too many cute adorable bunnies for their decor.

You all know how I love Pinterest and how I am a huge fan of DIY I went and searched Pinterest for a Door decoration for Easter and wa-la...

Here are the supplies you'll need:
  • Foam Pipe Cover (You could use a foam wreath, but I though it was too big)
  • Duct Tape {or other heavy tape to hold the ends together}
  • Lion Brand Fun Fur, white – 3 skiens (I only ended up using 2)
  • Vinyl Coated Wire (I used floral wire) -not too heavy or the ears won't stay up
  • Ribbon
  • White fabric for wrapping the wreath
  • Pink paper for ears
 Ok, lets get started!

1. You will need 2 circles, I made one circle 12" and one 8". Form your foam pipe cover in a circle and secure the ends together with duct tape.

2. Cut strips of fabric {you could also use white crepe paper} Wrap circle until covered completely.

3. Wrap both circles with the Lion Brand Fun Fur. More or less pending how 'fluffy' you want your bunny. Tie off with a knot.

4. Wrap the ears with white fabric and then Fun Fur, using the same method as for the circles.

5. Secure the 2 circles together with a cable tie or heavy wire. Then cover it with a few strands of fur.

6. Using sharp scissors, poke a whole through the fabric into the foam, and carefully push the ear into the foam.

7. Cut your pink paper in the same shape as your ears and then using a hot glue gun {or strong glue} attach the wire to the paper so that the pink shows through the ear.

8. Add your ribbon for a neck bow and hot glue between the circles on your bunny. (you could use a pin to attach the bow too)

You have an adorable bunny door decoration, or if your door already has Easter flare like mine, an adorable bunny wall decoration!
