Coffee Date!

If you were joining me for coffee this morning, I would let you know I am drinking mine in Mundelein Illinois. We are celebrating this long 4th weekend by going to Six Flags and the Milwaukee Zoo with family and friends!

I would let you know that this week was glorious! The kids started swimming lessons, so in the morning we were busy with those, then we'd head out for errands and come back home for lunch and naps. I didn't get a lot of blogging done this week, but I have a ton of pictures and blogging post to write about, with such a busy week! You'd think with having this week off work, I would have a ton of extra time, but things got knocked off my to-do list and I kept busy.

This week I spent some time gathering and making some fun things for our long road trip. I was actually having fun playing them with the kids. There's nothing better than busy kids on a long road trip. Check out some of the fun things my kids got to do in the car in this post.

I would brag to you about our amazing weather for our annual Music in Plymouth. Last year was a sweltering 90* and this year was perfect, no humidity and about 80*. This kids had a blast and once again, the fireworks were the best around.

I would admit, that as of this week, I actually own more than one swim suit that I like. I am normally a one swim suit kind of girl, but we are heading to Mexico this fall and I really wanted to have a few to choose from. Not to mention, when you actually start to like the looks of your body, which I am just about there, swimsuits looks much better!
{here is one of my new favs}

I would let you all know that after 6 weeks of laryngitis, I finally went to the doctor, with four kids in tow. The doctor put me on Prednisone, a steroid that he thinks might help. If not, it is off to the ears, nose and throat doctor. Cross your fingers this works.

During our coffee date I would tell you that I am trying to turn a new leaf and see the positive in everything. I will admit that I have been a 'glass half empty' lately and now I have decided that life is too short, so I am going to make sure I go out of my way to see it always at least half full.God makes life hard and challenging so that we learn and gives us curve balls for experiences. I am now taking them head on with a smile! No matter how rough and tough life seems to get, always know that there is someone out there in a much worse position than you, who would love to be in your shoes.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July!
