My Goals For Motherhood

What a big topic right?!

I almost skipped this one, since it was kind of intimidating!
Well, here goes!

I want to listen to my children, even when they are babbling and telling nonsense jokes and telling the little details about their day.

I want to always be honest with my children and teach them about honesty.

I want to be present as much as possible, so I don't miss them 'growing up.'

I want to catch all the moments in life, small and big, cause life is too short.

I want to be {more} patient and understanding.

I want my children to be able to be open with me and come to me for everything.

I want to be a great role model for my children.

I want to be an example of how to enjoy life.

I want my children to always know how much I love their dad. I want to be an example of love for them.

I want them to know everyday how much you are loved!

I want to teach them respect for others and things.

I want to teach them about God and how to rely on him.

I want to teach my children to love life and enjoy the moment.

I want them to love unconditionally.

I want to teach them to give second chances, cause life is too short to hold a grudge.

You only get a shot at this motherhood thing for such a short time, while impacting your children greatly. I am proud of doing my best and have raised 4 amazing children {so far}.

You are so right, our lists were very similar! The obvious difference is that I have just one little tot and you have four beautiful children. Wow!
Well done Kelly, you are one amazing mama and so glad I found your blog through this blogging challenge.

I'm so very proud of the mama and wife you are. You really are amazing. Of course, you do have a few little faults, but I won't tell the world! :)

This is so sweet! I need to write a list, just as a reminder for those days when I am feeling impatient and overwhelmed. You are an inspiring mom!
